Georgia Cook is a Franklin, TN, native who has grown up spending her summers at Tybee Island, GA.
She first learned how to surf when she was just six years old, sparking her interest. Georgia entered her first competition at age 10, went to her first East Coast Championships when she was 11, and went to her first National Championships when she was 13.
Since then, Georgia has made many appearances in regional, East Coast, and national finals - winning the East Coast Championships twice.
Even though she lives in Tennessee, Georgia traveled all over the country to practice and compete as a result of her love of surfing - sometimes more than 30,000 miles a year.
Because of this, Georgia is enthusiastic about sharing her love for surfing by teaching and encouraging others.
